In RE, we have been learning about God’s gifts and things to be thankful for. As part of our learning, we also learnt about the importance of Remembrance Day and the impact of war on people’s lives. We marked this occasion by creating a class display with poppy prayers asking God to help heal and guide victims of war.
In English, we have immersed ourselves in a text called The Journey, by Francesca Sanna.
Here is a snapshot of all of our wonderful work!
We explored this text by a writing a collection of beautiful descriptions, poems, letters and diary entries.
This term in our Topic, we are learning all about the Ancient Egyptians. Take a look at some of our vibrant drawings and necklaces which have inspired us by Ancient Egyptian artefacts and designs.
In Science this term we are investigating about different materials and their usage.
We did an experiment on what different materials absorbed water and what materials did not, keeping the experiment fair by using the same amount of water each time.
