Houses

Our Houses are named after the Four Evangelists: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John who wrote the Gospels of Jesus. When joining Good Shepherd, each child becomes a member of one of these four Houses.

Belonging to a House encourages team spirit with everyone working together and the older children supporting the younger ones. It develops a greater sense of identity and belonging in our school community as our children remain in these Houses from Reception to Year 6. Children across the Key Stages work hard to gain House points for good behaviour and demonstrating our Catholic values. They also have sporting competitions between the House groups.

House points are collected by Year 6 and shared in our weekly Celebration Assemblies.
